Project Description

The major revamp of the centre will see it almost double in size from nearly 59,000sp m to 109,000 sq m and comprise about 290 stores, an alfresco dining precinct and 10 screen Hoyts cinema. A large piazza, main street and external open space including children’s play area and trees are other features of the development, along with 4500 parking spaces.

Benefit to Client

Ensured a cost effective delivery of the project as a result of avoiding costly delays due to BCA non-compliances and reducing the Statutory Approval and Certification timeframes.

Services Provided

BCA Compliance Assessment, Inspection and Reporting Services; and the Co-ordination and Facilitation of the City of Stirling’s Statutory Approvals and Certification processes relative to the project.

Role

Acting as the Project’s Building Surveying Consultant to ensure that the project design and construction meets the requirements of the BCA and other Statute Law requirements.
